Trailering, Fuel & Other Expenses

Trailering

$2/mi to location. Trailering costs can be diluted relative to the amount of work in a given area over a period of contiguous days.

Fuel Surcharge

Fuel surcharges are implemented once the price of Avgas surpasses its cost when hourly rates are set at the beginning of the year.

Other Expenses

Gunner, Spotter & Ammunition are available from SCR. Gunner’s travel distances and availability vary.

Remember, cheap bulk ammo = low mortality rate.

Rates Overview

SCR Helicopters LLC has done away with the diminutive Robinson R22 and switched to the Robinson R44. In order to maintain Pricing competition with the R22, SCR Helicopters LLC is basing its’ pricing on a per seat basis to allow customers the efficiency and safety of an R44 at R22 rates.

The base rate is $375/hr. This Rate is for a pilot and single passenger for aerial surveys. Additional costs are associated with additional passengers and activities.
